Golden West Telecommunications, based in Wall, recently announced the hiring of Jim Haar as the new General Manager of Golden West Technologies – the Company’s IT support and security business located in Rapid City. Haar’s selection follows the departure of Greg Von Wald who left to become the President of Mitchell Technical Institute.
Haar, a Custer, SD native and a graduate of Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD, began his career with Golden West Technologies in 2000 as the Controller. Before becoming Manager, he was Assistant Manager and Chief Financial Officer.
